Fairfield University fans have an exclusive opportunity to purchase tickets to the 2013 Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame Tip Off Tournament on November 23-24 at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Conn. Tickets for this tournament can be purchased through a Hall of Fame ticket package or through the purchase of season tickets. As a reminder.... Individual tickets for $15, $50, $125 go on sale to the general public tomorrow (Fri 9/6). We play in Session 1 and 3. Naismith Bracket.
So does 1 $50 ticket buy you entrance to all 4 games???
No..... There are 2 separate sessions, tournaments and Champions. We are with the Big Boys, and with that comes added costs for Tickets. We kinda need to get used to it as a move to CAA and /or A-10 will result in higher ticket prices.
It's my understanding that our Alumni, season Ticket holders, and fans have not bought a lot of our allotment of tickets. I did not buy $50 seats but i just bought $15 seats (which end up being $22 with the added service charge) . I bought 6 of them right at mid court in the upper deck. I know 74 bought tickets too.
The tickets for alumni and season ticket holders are $150, lower sections 14, 15, 16 as according to Ms. Smaldone. This $150 includes the two games before mohegan, and the game on saturday as well as sunday
I had a question for you guys though, courtside tickets came up but at endcourt. Im concerned that the dance team or camera men may be in front though?
The bands and cheerleaders have to go somewhere but the cheerleaders will sit down on the floor most of the time. Maybe these pictures of the Mohegan Sun Arena in basketball mode will help you decide:
Second tier is better for the Louisville game. D'ont want to be to close to the outcome of that game. All stag fans sitting on the lower level should wear red and be issued a "tide" pen, easier to get the blood out.
The games are receiving good publicity on AM stations WFAN and WABC, maybe others. I've heard the commercial numerous times over the past week. Fairfield receives 3rd billing behind Louisville and NC.
For Session 1, the $15/$22 seats are now filled up in the 4 center court areas in the upper deck (Foul line to Foul Line). I bought them Sept 6th, the first day of Public sale. Currently, you can get seats in the upper deck, perpendicular to the baseline.
The $50/$62.50 seats at Center Court (Lower Level) seem to be filled up using Ticketmaster, but if you contact Fairfield/Helen you can probably get center court seats (Foul line to Foul Line). Currently, TicketMaster has $50/62.50 seats in the lower level, perpendicular to the baseline.
I would expect they would get a good walkup crowd the day of the game. And Sundays Tickets would most certainly be sold out for Louisville - North Carolina
Article says Malcolm not available for this game. Article is incorrect, right???
Incorrect
From Bill Paxton's interview with SJ:
You mention the frontcourt. Obviously having the eligibility issues resolved with center Malcolm Gilbert has to be huge for you and him, which allows him to start the season with the Stags....
