Great. I believe Stagz reported that he played well on his visit. The video of him shows a passing PG who, while not as speedy as Rome, is pretty quick and strong. Seems like a very solid international signing. And with Nolan we will have nice depth at guard. Still would like to see a strong and quick penetrator to balance out guard group.
It seems to me with Rome and Aidas, we already have two fairly quick and strong guards who can penetrate. Next year, Rome and Tyler will be juniors, Cobb and JJ will be sophomores and Nolan and Aidas will be freshmen as far as eligibility is concerned. With Kasibabu and Milin as sophs, Degnan a junior and Smith a senior --- I would think our top recruiting priority would be a Kirkland type forward.

Great news. Aidas fills the bill as a Passing PG who really knows how to run a team. I also think the has a good outside shot, but its hard to tell off highlight films as everything goes in. Segura might be a better penetrator, but I see Aidas as a pure PG that has potential to give us 10 assists a game
I would think we need true SF (6-6)….. someone who is like Kirkland but with move of an outside game. But we also need a Shot Blocking Center, an intimidator.

Normally I don't get excited about a player from just watching a film, but in this case I think I will make an exception. Best thing about him is his passing ability. We'll see if my optimism is rewarded in due time. But actually that time may be sooner rather than later. According to the NERR website his team (Spire Academy) is due to play 2 games next week in the National Prep Showcase at Albertus Magnus in New Haven. Listed times are Friday (11/20) at 5:15 PM and Sunday morning at 10:00 AM. BTW, this is against BIG-TIME competition, some of the best players and teams in the country on the scholastic level.

Great! Be sure to post any info you get. Also, when we sign players I enjoy following them through their senior years. Do you know the name of the local newspaper(s) who may publish articles about Spire?

Looks like Spire is located about an hour northeast of Cleveland near Lake Erie. Suggest going to the website "USA Newspapers," pick out a town that has a paper nearby and try it.
