I have many great memories of watching Bagley play for BC then the Celtics. How exciting it will be to watch Jerry Buckets develop into the next John Bagley. He certainly has shown flashes of his potential.

RF, thanks for posting the highest scoring Stag games in history! Wow, second place, this one came out of nowhere considering the history of Sydney ball before this season. Interesting though that with very little exception, most of the contests with the high scoring occurred before the shot clock and 3-Pt. line were in existence (mid-80s).

Yes, the shot clock is supposed to increase scoring but for Fairfield the pre shot clock era is when the majority of the points were scored.
At some point I would like to go through each of those games and break-out the D2 games from the D1 games. Some of those 100 point games came before Fairfield was division 1 and many others occurred where Fairfield still played some schools like UB as regular season opponents.

Regarding the Bagley reference, when I saw JJ twice drive the hoop, take a hit, and still lay the ball in, I mentioned this thought to JS (that his style reminded me of the former great from Bridgeport), and his response was that he was thinking the same thing! Just talking about style, career TBD. But certainly some great possibilities for this VERY confident young player.
DeSantis made the same comparison in the radio broadcast yesterday. Maybe he heard you guys. Called JJ "a little on the dumpy side", then followed that with a bunch of glowing comments about his skills.
