What could have been… sitting here watching Supreme Cook as Georgetown takes on LeMoyne (who actually look not terrible) and, one channel down, watching Chris Maidoh and the Stony Brook Seawolves take on Slick Rick and St John’s. Both look like they’ve put on some serious muscle from last year…
Cook just double dribbled on that breakaway dunk - but somehow everyone missed it. LeMoyne can't buy a 3P shot but they don't look awful. Their PG is a feisty little guy.
I watched Stonybrook. Maidoh did the smart thing by transferring. Not intimidated at all by St Johns. Looks like a basketball player. Multiple blocks, drives to the hoop, jump shots. Beautiful spin move resulting in a dunk. A much different player. Where was he when he played for us?
Glad Maidoh is getting a chance to shine. He was a quality big man who was held back by JY who refused to put him and Supreme on the court at the same time.

I'm a big Maidoh fan, but he had 2 points on 1-9 shooting... let's not overstate his debut.
Supreme was 8 of 9 in his FG attempts. LeMoyne’s tallest starter was 6’7”. I’m guessing working the ball in to Peyton Smith will be a big part of our plan when we play LeMoyne, unless LeMoyne has some tall players who are injured and didn’t play against Georgetown.

Here’s video of the missed double dribble typhaon mentioned:
