Glad Maidoh is getting a chance to shine. He was a quality big man who was held back by JY who refused to put him and Supreme on the court at the same time.
I'm a big Maidoh fan, but he had 2 points on 1-9 shooting... let's not overstate his debut.
I agree. He had an ok game but didn't see much difference from the Maidoh of the past.

Quinnipiac 74 CCSU 70 (AJR leads Blue Devils with 18 points.) Iona 88 Sacred Heart 81 (Gaels outscore Pioneers 13-3 down the stretch. Harvard transfer Idan Tretout with 34.) Kansas 99 Manhattan 61 (No. 1 team in the land runs the Jaspers out of Lawrence.) Marquette 95 Rider 65 (Broncs better get used to losing to Jesuit schools.)
Boston College 75 Citadel 71 (10 points for Quinten Post.) Southern Illinois 91 Queens University 68 (Stags and Royals likely vie for first D1 win next Saturday.) Villanova 83 Le Moyne 57 (I honestly have nothing to say about this one.) Gonzaga 86 Yale 71 (Bulldogs hang for a while but Bulldogs pull away in the second half.)
Monmouth 73 West Virginia 65 (King Rice's son Xander leads Hawks with 30.) Princeton 74 Hofstra 67 (Sorry, Bob.) Chattanooga 81 Louisville 71 (Jerry Johnson is smiling tonight.)

I watched the entire Iona vs SHU game. The pioneers were ahead for a lot of the 2nd half. However in crunch time the Gaels defensive pressure got to SHU and they folded. Coach Latina was upset because for some reason the scoreboard seemed to malfunction ONLY when SHU had the ball and play had to be stopped! Additionally, I noticed that the Iona scoreboard was flashing bright messages only when SHU had possession of the ball. Both coincidences?

Gotta love this. Gutwrenching at the end of the game. HC almost blew it when a guard took a 3 point shot with 3 seconds to go when holding the ball would have allowed the clock to expire. HC guard Octave, a transfer from Air Force, was nearly unstoppable and scored 33 points. And as expected the game was played in DC. Watching GTown lose at home to,a Patriot League team was great.
“Cook missed 2 FT’s with GT up by 2 with about minute to go”. Different uniform same foul shooting. A little further south Richmond beating Siena like an old bass drum. The Spiders up by forty at one time y
Supreme improved his FT% each season at Fairfield. What I don’t understand is once he established a routine that had him hitting over 63% of his free throw attempts, why it wouldn’t carry over to the next season. The distance to the basket hasn’t changed, the basket is still 10 feet off the ground— yet he’s struggling from the line in his first two games at Georgetown.
Did Supreme not practice his foul shooting in the offseason? Is Cooley not devoting any time to foul shooting in their practices because he’s trying to get this group up to the Big East level of play?
They’ve only played two games, but it’s a mystery to me why he’d drop from 63.7% to 38.5% on his FT%.
