Nice comeback win by Vermont. It’s early but it appears the Catamounts are in their way to another successful season, Charleston did not help themselves shooting 12% from 3 point land.
Manhattan was sweating bullets in that game. Didn't really put it away until there were 3 or 4 minutes to go. Having said that... including the OL-type forward... Felician did look to be a step up in talent from the D3 schools that Fairfield has faced.

Felician is D-II. This is why if you have to play a real game vs a non-D1, it's better to play a III

I would phrase it— if you have to play a real game vs a non-D1 and you want to be sure you win the game, it’s better to play a III.
I bet playing D2 Felician did more to help the Manhattan coaches determine the strengths and weaknesses of their team than our coaches learned about our team from playing D3 Mount St. Mary.
St. John’s loses to Dayton 88-81 and Pitino says the reason they lost is the players did not pay attention to the scouting report.
One of the players Pitino singled out for not following the scouting report on Dayton was Chris Ledlum, Ledlum is a graduate transfer from HARVARD. You’d think being able to get admitted to Harvard, playing there for 3 years (no Ivy basketball the Covid year)and attending the school for 4 years, he’d be able to deny the right hand on a right hand dominant player.

Felician was #269 out of 298 D2 schools in the Massey ratings before the Manhattan game, and was 6-21 last season.
A handshake between two head coaches Saturday turned ugly in New Jersey. After Seton Hall defeated Wagner, 71-52, Pirates head coach Shaheen Holloway pulled Donald Copeland's arm while the two spoke and had to be separated.....
The game is over and coaches cannot have a civil interaction.
It's not like this happened in the heat of competition. This was not two players in a scuffle.
They are doing a wonderful job setting an example for students.
Unfortunately the game has really deteriorated IMO. Too much money, too much testosterone and the acceptance of inappropriate behavior with no consequences is disturbing.
