Duke loses to unranked UNC. This should help the Stags.
#22 Louisville also loses to #17 ND.

AP25 is more about what have you done lately vs. some comprehensive statistical look at the season's results. Louisville has lost 5 of their last 9. Sure... 4 of those were to ranked conference opponents (the other, unranked Virginia)... but your claim to hanging on to the fringe of the AP25 can't be... "we lose to every ranked team." Duke is a nice win for UNC, who was ranked #30(?)... Duke was effectively ranked #27 in the AP and I think around #20 in the NET... but UNC screwed a chance for jumping up the polls by losing to hapless BC the game before. Utah will probably tumble down to the 22/23/24 range. They lost a home game to the 10th place team. Princeton didn't do anything to jump ahead of Fairfield. Stags took care of business with 2 blowout wins. If they can't get ranked this week... I don't know if they can.

A loss on the road to a ranked ACC team (NET #10) is more impressive, to the voters, than wins over Quinnipiac (#276) and Manhattan #243).

This is a wonderful achievement. Not bad for a small school whose players actually go to class!

Yes, that resume posting blew up on Twitter, got a lot of eyes. There were several others like, who is Fairfield and 25 in a row that also helped.

Embarrassingly, Emily Adams from the Hartford Courant was one of only a few AP voters not to include Fairfield. Here are her bottom five: 21 Penn State (18-11) - Big Ten Women 22 Arkansas (18-13) Southeastern Women 23 Florida State (21-9) Atlantic Coast Women 24 Washington State (18-13) Pacific 12 Women 25 Southern Miss (17-12) Sun Belt Women
