I think clearly the next two contests Siena and Niagara are the toughest two games of this season for FF to win. On the road vs #3 in the MAAC standings(Siena) and then with little time to prepare vs #2 Niagara. Stags up!

Another tough game without MaGruder. Her status? I hope it isn’t a long term injury. This doesn’t look good

Picked up the D in Q2. Need to cut down the turnovers.

To many poor passes. 13 TO’s in first half. Need to clean that up or the streak ends tonight.

Do we have anyone in the 2nd half that can stop Seppala who has 16 for the saints in the 1st half? She had 22 when she played the stags in FF. Perhaps switch to some zone?

The officiating in this game has been exceptionally poor.

Stags 71-67 for the win but 22 Fairfield turnovers.
#1 Fairfield (W21) is now (23-1)(15-0 MAAC).
They are also still ranked No. 7 in the College Insider Mid-Major Top-25 Poll. The Stags will return home to face MAAC Preseason favorites #2 Niagara (W9)(15-11)(12-4 MAAC) on this Saturday at 2pm on ESPN+.

Our passing was very sloppy and telegraphed. Need to work on that. We look more beatable without our three point specialist, Kendall.

The unsung hero? Beach who did a great job on Zapala in the 2nd half. Zapala had her way with Andersen, Fischer and Deleba in the first half. None could guard her. Each game the stags seem to be getting closer to losing. Will need to clean up mistakes vs Niagara or streak will end.

Really good road win. Turned it on in the 2nd half and held on. Having seen all the MAAC teams I think Siena is our toughest matchup. Niagara is very good too but Siena has the pieces to pull the upset in AC. Let’s take care of business at home and see if we can finally sneak into the top 25.

I'm happy with this result. Siena has seemed like the toughest match up. The Stags miss McGruder. She's always ready to shoot and I think that opens things up and she usually makes a pass or two to someone for an easy basket. Nice to see Andersen back into it after a few quiet games.
Now we'll see what Niagara can bring the second time. A win clinches the MAAC for the Stags.
