This is the time where I usually check-out so I wanted to get everyone's objective thoughts for 2014-15.
For me, it's a few items:
1.) Maximize Big Man Gilbert. Coaches, you have a 7 Footer...please work with him!
2.) Play to win at the end...know how to execute when the game is on the line.
3.) Try to be .500 (Doesn't seem like much but it's a 12 game swing from this season)
4.) Coach Johnson-Take ownership of what happens on the court. Less coach speak and more wins please.
5.)Fans-please stay loyal. We are going to have bad attendance...just a fact. Let's hope we can rejuvenate some of the fan fan-base with some better hoops.
6.)A JUCO or Frosh becomes a star...we need someone to lead the program. We don't have it now. Hoping someone emerges.

Curious and Stagparty, all very fair points! And as a big fan of the program (this marks my 50th year of watching the Stags) I always have hope for better times no matter how bad things may look at a given time.

MAAC Sports @maacsports 16h Masiello ends speech with "JASPER NATION WHERE ARE YOU?!?!?!" #MAAC14 from Springfield, MA
Not related but this is telling. I asked Mr. Ensor about attendance and he directed me to #MAAC14, where I visited. Saw this Tweet...makes me think Masiello is done playing games in Draddy and winning the tourney in front of ghosts. Sad. :-(
Holding the MAAC Basketball Tournament in Springfield, MA, a state that has no MAAC teams or even any nearby (Hamden, CT is the closest at 58 miles away).
The MAAC Basketball Championship games in Springfield yesterday drew just 975 fans for the Women and only 1,749 for the Men. No wonder the MAAC website has not included all the attendance numbers on their Championship website. Springield, MA didn't care about the MAAC and the not many MAAC fans cared to go there either.
Actually Steve Masiello's Manhattan fans were second in MAAC home attendance this season with 1,906 in their 2,345 seat Draddy Gymnasium. Only Siena had more fans at their home games; much, much more with 6,593 at the TUC.
Curious, Underwheming, perfect description of the MAAC. By the way did anyone catch the half time interview during the ESPN broadcast of the championship with Rich Ensor the commish of the MAAC. It was putrid, Ensor did not look at the camers, showed no enthusiasm, looked to be discheveld and worn out looking. Is this the face of our conference? Wow that is bad.

Upgrades to the arena experience - Someone needs to figure out a pricing model for things such as parking - $10 for a dirt lot is too expensive. The beer cost -$8.50 for a 16 ounce bud light is over the top. It's a minor league area charging major league prices.

25% of our attendance woes are related to the cost of parking and concessions I would imagine. Parking costs just as much as the ticket. They should be priced more appropriately. Does Fairfield have any say in these prices? I dont think they do.
Also would help if there was any development in the area around the arena. If the arena is ultimately to be successful there will need to be some sort of vibe or attractions in the area. It is a major reason why the TUC and Siena has done so well.
My understanding is that the City Of Bridgeport sets the price for the parking. As far as the surrounding area, when the Arena was built, there were great plans to develop it. One project went down in a well publicized eminent domain case. In addition, the economy was a whole helluva lot better then than now.
