Stags picked last in the CAA preseason coaches poll. So far the poll is true. I really think the stags are a better team then a last place team. The stags have talent but must cut down on unforced turnovers and tighten up on their defense or else this will be a long season. Stags up!

The last time that the Stags qualified for the CAA Men's Lacrosse Championship was in 2016 and now at (0-3) so far this season it doesn't look too good again.

Ugh! Next three games against two top twenty teams and one team that was only recently in the top twenty. The CAA is an extremely competitive lax league and the Stags are not competitive in the league. There is a good chance the stags cannot win a CAA game this year!

I guess we shouldn't be too harsh on the team. The CAA is indeed an extremely competitive lax league this year.

We should be harsh. Expectations are that we should be competing for NCAA births- those expectations aren’t being met. The new coach gets a pass for this year only. The a/d and administration shouldn’t. Holding on to the prior coach too long is a failure on their part.

So, a simple question. The basketball team is and has been a bottom tier member of the MAAC for sometime, but so many posters want argue to leave the MAAC. One could easily argue the top of the MAAC has been 'extremely competitive' for years w/o the Stags. The lacrosse team is getting shredded in the CAA. So, why the silence about jumping to another conference, such as America East?

So, why the silence about jumping to another conference, such as America East? I and many Fairfield lacrosse supporters are proponents of moving lacrosse to the Patriot League. The PL is a stronger lacrosse league than the CAA and would pit us against historical rivals including Loyola, Army and Holy Cross. Media Poll #7 Lehigh #10 Army #14 Loyola Votes: Navy

Right now and during the last few years the stags are not and have not been competitive in the CAA or would they be competitive in the Patriot league . This in spite of the fact , a considerable investment has been made. Very disappointing.
