Hard to do that from out here on the East End of Long Island but that construction picture with the view from the Campus Center was from the University's Facebook page. However, when I see those things I will repost here.
Somebody from the construction company ,Gilbane,I think, should get some people over to the convocation center to secure the site. Lower the cranes and take down those work site tents to minimize any potential damage.
Gilbane, is a well known construction management company in the industry. They have successfully managed the construction of multiple projects on the campus, they know how to get things done.
Great convocation construction pictures today. Up until Monday, daily pictures were rather mundane. Previously, pictures of the site work and progress on the foundation could be viewed daily. Yesterday a large crawler crane was delivered and today the crane is being erected. You only deliver a huge crane to a construction site when you expect to start erecting the steel to the new building very shortly. All good news towards the construction of the new facility that loyal stag fans on this board have waited patiently for over the years.

Great to hear! Now that said, in deference to someone (me) who admittedly is clueless about what this means concerning a timeline to completion, is it possible that a November 2022 date can be achieved?

Surfing the net today and I came upon the construction camera for the new SHU hockey arena construction. They (SHU) have three CLEAR camera views of the construction progress. We (FU) have one obstructed ( by a tree) construction view of the convocation center. I guess I’ll wait until fall when the leaves fall to get a better view of the convocation center. Good thing the tree is not a pine tree! HA! IMO , FF always seems to do a sub- standard job on these kind of things compared to many other schools and certainly less then SHU.

The good news is the first steel pieces of the structure look like they have been put in place in the southwest corner of the structure.

Sacred Heart University has three cameras set up so their SHU alumni, Pioneer fans and the local community can watch the progress of their $70 million Martire Family Arena. How can SHU have 3 cameras and Fairfield University have only one camera for the $45 million Arena and Convocation Center with a view partially blocked by trees? Guess what - planning and leadership! No excuses and if those in charge at Fairfield don't know how to do it correctly then just go ask those in charge at SHU!
