It is great that we appear to have depth, but we also need multiple guys to step up and play like All-MAAC players on a consistent basis.
Based on what I saw against Rutgers, I’d say Cook, Willis, and Fields are capable of playing like All-MAAC level players. To be determined if all 3 play at that level on a consistent basis. Not sure if that meets your criteria for multiple guys. If more are needed to get to multiple — I’d say Wojcik, Long, Johns Jr., and Goodine are possible candidates for playing at an All-MAAC level. I do agree that in addition to depth, there needs to be one or more go-to guys that will get us points down the stretch in a close game.
Yeah that's an interesting question that Jay Young will have to solve based on what he sees in practice each and every day. A lot of depth, sure, but who will step up and be the go-to guys when we really need a big basket? How Jay handles this as well as how he distributes playing time among what appears to be quite a few very good players of somewhat equal ability could turn out to be a key factor to the whole season. Right now based upon Sunday's contest and not counting Crisler who only got about 5 minutes, it looks like the original rotation will be 10 players. That's probably a bit high and will have to be cut-down somewhat as the season moves along in order to create optimal chemistry. Jay has his work cut out for himself in this area, but that said, it's a good problem to have in many ways, right?

I believe in the second half we started Fields, Woj, Rose, Willis, Cook. They didn’t stay on the floor together for too long, but I wonder if that’s our best look against power conference teams with big front lines.
I think JY was trying different things. He also went with a small lineup for a bit.
RE: his minutes - AJR being able to make a J and hit his FT is a big ?. Need to see more of Willis handling the ball. I thought he looked good, but then had a couple of sloppy TOs.
I would need to see more of Willis in action to see if he should be a starter. I was surprised by how good he looked shooting against Rutgers. Additionally, he appeared to move easily up and down the court blending nicely into the offense. However, one game is too small of a sample. We have had plenty of one game wonders at FF over the year that do not play consistently as the season progresses. I agree on AJR. He is an athlete who can run and jump but i do not think he has developed a dependable "J" and is a liability on the FT line.
AJR has that quick acceleration. He should be encouraged to drive to the basket. His percentage would be better than jumpers and Cook can clean up on any miss.

Sometimes injuries play a role in solving this problem. You really can't have too much depth. I fully expect to see 10 different players play 20 or more minutes in a game this season.
