While Fairfield Men's Lacrosse (5-9)(3-4) still continues to falter and underperform, Fairfield Women's Lacrosse (12-4)(7-1) does not and is working towards their 5th NCAA Tournament in the last 6 years (2020 season covid cancelled). Womens Lax does not play in the MAAC playoffs again for 13 days after beating Canisius . I am not sure if that is a blessing allowing for lots of rest or curse allowing u to loose your game time edge.

BUT the blessing is that they will play the Semifinal game and hopefully the Championship game at Rafferty Stadium where they are (6-1) this season,(6-2) in 2022 and (8-1) in 2021. (20-4) at home over the last three post-covid seasons post should help. The Stags averaged 471 fans at home this season and hopefully an even better turnout for the two games at Rafferty Stadium.

WLAX playing for a championship at the same time as Baseball (both on Campus) is once again shows the ineptitude of our athletic department. Wrong folks in charge and over staffed too.

WLAX playing for a championship at the same time as Baseball (both on Campus) is once again shows the ineptitude of our athletic department. Wrong folks in charge and over staffed too. Not to mention flying foul balls landing in the Lacrosse stands/field God forbid anyone gets hit by a foul ball on the lax field /stands. We’d get our assess handed to us in a lawsuit and our insurance would skyrocket. It might clear the deck of an incompetent administration though.

11 & 1 or 12 & 2. It’s not difficult. This issue, btw, could have been anticipated months ago.
