For some reason the only way I could see the stream on NEC Front Row was to hit the icon to reduce screen size. It’s small but you can see the live action for those of you who don’t have YES.
This team is clicking. After starting 1-6 I did not see this coming. This might be the best a Fairfield team has looked since the end of the Needham era.
So what you heard at the end of the summer was how good Jalen Leach looked. He is special.
James Johns had a solid game. One of his best. Didn't need 3s in the second half. But Fields in the first set a tone for the rest of the night. Just a great team effort in so many facets at both ends. And what about Seck. He runs the floor
6-6 through 12 games is probably about where I expected us to be, but honestly didn’t think 4 of those 6 would include wins at Yale, FDU, and Rider.
Team is playing exciting basketball and truly seem to enjoy playing with another. Given the tumultuous start of the year, it seemed this was going to be a lost season. But now it seems like anything but that.
Give the staff and kids great credit for staying focused and bonding together, as this could have gone a totally different direction.

Seck adds another dimension at both ends of the court. Was surprised to see him using the glass on his layups instead of slamming them home. Was it the TV angles tonight, or does Smith look a lot thinner than earlier in the season? I'm thinking Yetna can't wait to get on the floor with these guys.
