Nelson-Ododa has nice balance to his game.... offense and defense. A perfect fit for what we need. Lets go get him.
If there is one spot and one spot only open on the squad for a GOOD experienced player, I feel it should be a PG. I do have a feeling that we are still actively recruiting in this area.
Last year's team included 5 new players (Segura, Nelson, Degnan, Kirkland, Threatt).
This year's team will include 5 new players (Kavaliauskas, Cobb, J. Johnson, Kasibabu, King).
And next year's team will include 6 new players (since the two Gilberts, Kirkland, King, Sidibe and Coleman Johnson will all graduate).
I can't imagine having to rely on so many new guys who don't know your system, year after year, is a recipe for success. Obviously, you should expect 3 new guys per year, but 5-6 per year means a big chunk of your roster is changing every year.
It will be nice when things settle down and there is stability in this program again.

One of our scholarships offers for '16 might be reclassifying to the class of '15.
Alex Kline @therecruitscoop · 25m25 minutes ago 2016 New York Lightning (NY) guard Elijah Pemberton is visiting Kansas State this weekend. He has been offered for the class of 2015.
However, if Pemberton does end up going to Kansas State -- we'll still have 45 open offers; almost half of them at what Verbal Commits labels the shooting guard position where we already have Nelson, Cobb, JJ, and Nolan.
Last summer, Indiana made a summer trip to Canada and realized they needed another forward. Fairfield had offered Emmitt Holt for '15 but he reclassified for '14 and averaged 11+ minutes per game for the Hoosiers.
