As far as PG's who can shoot, Crew Ainge is still out there. Has published offers from UNC Greensboro (although they just signed a PG) and Binghamton. In addition, there was a published report that Duke was involved, so its anyone's guess. His ratings aren't great, but who cares. Take a look.
Great lineage that's for sure. Probably another kid who has a connection with the Nelsons because of Tyler's dad being associated with the NBA. He has been talked about quite a bit in the last 2-3 years on the NERR website. Surprised the rating isn't higher however. I guess I would say that I do care a little bit, but not having watched him play I do not have an opinion on whether he would be a good recruit for the Stags.
Didn't want to start a new thread for this but do want to mention that Mike Kirkland's younger brother Simeon '17 was selected to a 3rd team Florida Class 4A all state team:
Ted Beck ted_beck · Apr 21 Congrats to Trinity big man Simeon Kirkland, named third-team All-State by FABC/Source Hoops for Class 4A.
...Among the more physical players in camp was sophomore power forward Simeon Kirkland. A brawler in the post, he is a tough four-man who rebounds, goes strong to the rim and runs the floor very well. He has a body to build on at around 6-foot-6 or 6-foot-7. His older brother Mike plays at Fairfield, so hoops runs in the family... - See more at: basketballrecruiting.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=1686894#sthash.zgwFTnL6.dpuf

Speaking of Kirkland, its not too far fetched to think that Kirkland can get a case of "Senoritis" this year and put up Mo Barrow senior year stats...... 13ppg and 6-7rpg. Could be huge for us. He has the Talent, but he has been wildly inconsistent and needs to play hard all the time.

Interesting that Mike's numbers were not much different than the junior year of Mo. So maybe that could happen. So inconsistent however (as you say). The talent is there. Look at the So. Dakota game, the away contest at Iona. Need more like that and less of like the final 2 of the season. Then we might really have another scoring and rebounding option. Would like him to "go away happy" so as maybe he could be a positive influence in possibly getting his brother to become a Stag in the future (if he is good enough).
Thoughts on bringing in an upperclassmen PG? I would think we haven't closed the book yet.
I think they would, but only if the "right one" became available. Last thing we need is to bring in a player for one year who wouldn't be a difference maker, who would slow up the development of the young guards that we already have.
