Leach , Goodine and Floyd I am sure were treated fairly by Casey. They did not leave because of unfairness. I am also sure the three left primarily for $$$ . We can sugar coat the three transfers by saying they want to prove they can be successful by playing at a higher level or they are looking for a change of venue etc.. However , their transfer is primarily a money grab.
^^Strange that he waits until the 11th hour to put his name in the portal. He probably would have plenty more desirable options if he put his name in earlier.

Does seem odd. He played four full seasons at Yale over five years, so he knew he couldn't play again in the Ivy League. He may be one of the Ivy players trying to get an extra year. If that happens, he will get a nice NIL pay day from someone.

Some data confirming what many have noticed in the portal. Of the top 50 mid-major ppg scorers, 41 have entered the portal according to Bart Torvik. I’m assuming most of them are looking to get some or better NIL$ at the high major level. Players who demonstrate an ability to score points at the D1 mid-major level look to be seeking financial reward at the high major level.
Was hoping that the portal closing meant we knew who was on our roster for next season, but then I saw this tweet:
So I guess nothing is 100% certain with our incoming transfers until they start attending classes at Fairfield, if I’m understanding that information correctly.
I would think that enrolling in classes (probably a couple during the summer) would be part of any transfer discussion - given everyone knows the ramifications.
