Kiss to Fairfield makes too much sense, so it probably won't happen.
I've heard rumors that he has undefined "issues," whatever that means, and that Young is not interested. Hope that's not true. The kid will have a chip on his shoulder the size of New Jersey, and a lot to prove. He may not be a great three-pointer shooter, but he's good scorer and he will bring much-needed attitude and toughness to the lineup. It's a one-year roll of the dice, a no-brainer as far as I'm concerned.
I agree, and considering the new reality of facing the Rick Pitino led Iona Gaels at least twice a year, that attitude and toughness would really help I think.
More info to come today but I hear we could be in on this guy. Only played 10 minutes last year so maybe we can get a redshirt for last season if he committed, so he can play in 2020-21:
Well, I think we could use a few guys like this. it will be interesting to see what happens, I wonder why kiss waited so long to enter the portal.
Yeah I do too. Maybe that's the reason why earlier speculation (by us on this board) had kind of gone away. I would love it if somehow this renewed interest in Peter Kiss sparked by him entering the transfer portal could really mean something from a Fairfield perspective. Certainly the Jay Young connection is there, right?

From a 'fit' perspective - this guy is enormous and exactly what the Stags are lacking. Need someone else physical to patrol the middle with Eze. Kiss would be an upgrade (I'm assuming) - but I think he fills the same role that Taj does - so JY might not see that as pressing of a need. I forget where the Stags stand on open slots. Is it 1 or 2?
* sounds like there might be some injury history to evaluate. knee?

A lineage of beef. None quite as big as Diarra. Come get us some rebounds!!! Madani Diarra 6’10” 240 Mo Barrow 6’5” 210 Jonathan Kasibabu 6’8” 240 Anthony Johnson 6’8” 245 Marty O'Sullivan 6’7” 230
Due to the timing of their coach's firing, it sounds like there might be a chance for Wake Forest transfers to have immediate eligibility. There's a 6'6" reserve guard and some 7'0" center also looking to move. I'd think it would be hard to give a waiver to Sarr and not to the other two.

Why would there be a chance for immediate eligibility of wake forest players because of coaching change? I am aware Danny Manning the H/C was fired because of non-performance.( he did not win). An assistant coach resigned because of manslaughter charges levied against him. Is there something else that effects WF players eligibility that is known?

I got that from an article. As stag79 said - it has to do with the timing of the coach leaving.
