Not a transfer, but an IUPUI decommit. Saw this Jake Lieberman tweet.
jake lieberman @jakelieberman2 Mar 27 Brock Heffner (@brockheffner) tells me that he has been in contact with North Dakota, Hawaii, Liberty, Lipscomb, Canisius, Fairfield, and others since decommitting from IUPUI.
According to verbalcommits, Heffner is 6'7" from Grafton, Wisconsin.
Interesting take from Goodman talking about Roy Williams frustration with the rash of transfers...
The recruiting (and retaining) game has changed immensely over the last few years. It’s really a feeding frenzy with the transfer portal, and I’m not sure if I like it or not from a Fairfield perspective. We’ve benefited from picking up guys like Leach and Jake, but also lost guys like Flavors.
Not a huge sample at Rutgers but Rivals Top 150 4 star recruit coming out of high school and huge body. MAAC would be a great place for him.
Mamadou is intriguing, and there has to be a relationship with JY.
But even if we are looking to add another player at this point, he would not be my first choice. I've never seen him play, but there are some similarities with Malcolm Gilbert: both were 4-star players coming out of HS even though neither were at all proficient offensively (Mamadou only averaged 11ppg as a HS senior). Like Malcolm, Mamadou hasn't blossomed in his 4 years despite playing in 71 games. It's never bad to have another big body, but we are most in need of a player(s) who can put the ball in the basket.
I hope Mamadou finds somewhere where he can be successful, just not in the MAAC.

Listen what you said was right. But here is another spin.
Siena takes in a transfer who had no playing time or production at Pepperdine prior. Expectations low. And here is what he does:
I think any of us would love to have a 10 PPG 5 RPG Big Body. Moral of the story is no one knows. Mamadou might just need a shot. Hes 6'9 250, we don't have that right now in the program. We would also get 2 years of him which is a huge plus vs. a come and go type like Eze.
*Bonus* Also, what killed us besides the 3 ball last year...Interior Defense. Our bigs could not match up with Stormo or Nelly JJ. We need guys who can defend in the paint and be a factor down low. I think he can help in that area.
