Two options tonight for those looking to watch some of last year’s players. Stony Brook, with Maidoh, at St. John’s at 7 on FS1 and Georgetown, Supreme, hosts LeMoyne at 7 on FS2.
TJ Long and his Vermont team go to 4-0 by beating St. Louis rather handily in the battle of the “A’s” , AE vs A10 at the Myrtle Beach Invitational. TJ who has his fourth double figure game fits right in as part of another strong Vermont team. Can’t blame Long for leaving a perennial loser FF to join a perennial winner and a very good coach. If I heard the game announcers correctly Vermont has had 14 consecutive 20 game winning seasons with the exception of the Covid season. Now that’s a winner!

Actually 78-68 was the final score, not the halftime score as printed in the graphic.
Vermont plays 5-0 Liberty on Sunday at 5:30pm in the championship game of the Myrtle Beach Invitational.
After 3 games, AJR is the leading scorer for 1-2 CCSU. He’s averaging 17 ppg. His 77.78 field goal percentage has him tied for 8th best among all D1 players in the NCAA statistics. He’s made 21 of his 27 field goal attempts this year.
AJR scores 25 as CCSU loses a home game to Manhattan 67-63. He went 11 for 15 from the field but that 73.3% actually will lower his FG% for the season as he had been hittIng a little over 77% from the field prior to today’s game.
Coincidence: right now the latest updated field goal percentage numbers on NCAA.com/stats were updated early this morning. Tied for 6th with AJR is Supreme Cook. Both guys were 21 of 27 from the field at that point in time.
