I'd like us to make the NCAA tournament. It's been almost 20 years. Thoughts of anything beyond that at this point is ridiculous. We still have a long road just to get there.
makes playing basketball look easy, same way Rakim did. Exciting stuff. Id like to see some more explosive athleticism, I think that will come in time though.

A sweet shooter who plays with his head up and sees the whole floor so that he can shoot, drive and dish or finish. Can you imagine him playing with Tyler on the perimeter for three years? He is smooth, effortless and unselfish.
Chris205 - I know in jest, but I think inferring probation on a program you support is a little over the top.
It's been a VERY difficult 2 years and I know there is a lot of frustration out there, but I think this is an instance where Syd and staff should be CHEERED/CONGRATULATED. (Much like the success of recruiting Tyler N). We still have a long road ahead, but it would be great to see him turn this around for the sake of the players, students, and Alumni.
Again, I still need to see Syd do a sit down interview and take some of the responsibility to get fully back on board.
yeah, yeah, yeah, I have heard all of this before! Lets see the kid play. I'm from Missouri, show me!
74, I don't think you have heard 3-Star Recruit in a while, or somebody who had scholarship offers from UConn, Providence, Butler, Creighton, LaSalle and Temple and interest from Indiana and Wake Forest. The last player with those credentials was Deng Gai.
I agree with you danny! I was wondering what Nolan's status will be given all the circumstances that have arisen recently. That would complete the need for guards and now we should be focusing on a good big man to clog up the middle and have an inside presence along with the perimeter shooters.
I have not heard of any change to Nolan's status..... as far as the scholarship not going into effect until 2016-17. My understanding is that both Fairfield and Nolan's Family were in agreement to that.
IMO, bringing in a PG as a 5th year senior and a Big Man is of equal importance. Good Guards are what win in the MAAC. We can win with role players upfront. I do hope Marcus plays more as a PF on defense.
Looks like the only one left in question is Rose, wasn't he told that he was not a good fit along with Doug? That would possibly open up another scholarship and allow Nolan to play if that's what he, his family, and Sydney agree to do... In addition it would still allow us to recruit a point guard and big man for next year.
