"Z" if his game is like Tyler nelsons then we can probably expect two things: 1) in the long run he will help the program 2) Syd " low bid" won't recognize it and will leave him on the bench for a number of games as he did Tyler during his freshmen year.
Link to a French story on Olivier officially signing with the Stags. Translation below. His strength is defense, and describes himself as a 6-4 winger, And also a "Pointer". We need good "Pointer".

He then moved to Collège Jean-de-Brébeuf College League AA.
«» It was my choice to not play in the AAA. Brébeuf had on two players from impacts that gave me the opportunity to get better with each practice. These two players now play in New York in the NCAA", said Olivier Cadieux, who does not regret his choice.
In three years with Jean-de-Brébeuf, Olivier and his team were sacred provincial champions in the AA League on two occasions. "We have graduated in the AAA League during my last year. Wow, in reading this translation and then glancing at the original, kind of reminds me of the time a few years ago when I was at the Molson Centre to watch a Canadians game. But that aside, I think it's interesting that he emphasizes defense as being one of his strengths. Most kids starting out their college careers might not state that as being a key feature of their game. But to me, even without seeing him play (other than the videos), that might indicate that toughness is part of his character. Also like the fact that he already has his eye on what is real important by suggesting his goal is to reach the "March Madness" EVERY YEAR! Hopefully it comes true of course (at least one or two times anyway). Academics important also, probably the most important thing of all actually.
'I was right. I believe in me and I was dreaming to the NCAA. Since I six years I think the NBA (National Basketball Association). "I want to play professional one day", he says confidently.
Olivier has received several offers from American and Canadian universities. He chose Fairfield because of the coaching staff. "They have several contacts in the NBA. When coach Sydney Johnson told me that I could use the gym 24 hours a day, I accepted on the spot. "I love cause me ', adds.
Write history 20-year-old Champfleury district would like to well attend the prestigious March Madness of the NCAA tournament and score the winning basket.
He wants to write history as did Kris Jenkins, who has managed a long shot of three points on the last game of the finals, allowing the Wildcats of the University of Villanova to win 77-74 at the expense of the Tar Heels of the University of North Carolina, on 4 April, at Houston.
Olivier wants to force the hand of the coach of the Fairfield University Stags, Sydney Johnson, to use it as a starter.
«» I want to game time. I want to help Fairfield to win tournaments,"argued King size of 6 feet and 4-inch athlete who trains with Kevin Selman, in order to be ready for his start in July.
Flowers for the Marauders Olivier did not hide that he was a proud candle in the coaching staff of Marauders, Francis Nadeau, Mathieu Chénier and Riel Lamarche, who showed him the right way.
«» It is not complicated, I got a scholarship at an American University with these coaches. "They were always there to support me and advise me", he says.
Honors Olivier had three outstanding seasons with the Collège Laval to the secondary. In its first year, it pierced the alignment of players team stars in the younger category, division 1. He still holds the record for the largest number of points.
In his last campaign, he declared most valuable player award in Quebec in the juvenile category, division 1.
Subsequently, he was courted by all college teams, division 1, in the province. He surprised everyone by opting for the level collegiate division 2, signing with the dynamics of the college Jean-de-Brébeuf. His former coach of the Marauders, Mathieu Chénier, convinced him to follow him, him who acted as Deputy at dynamics.
Olivier accepted the offer for several reasons. "The coach of the dynamics, Michael Chmielskis, allowed me to become a better player. I've also worked with Joseph Chartouny and Nemanja Zarkovic, two excellent players who are now evolving in the NCAA. "And there were also academic coaching, one of best colleges in Quebec", he says.
Olivier helped the dynamics to earn the title of provincial champions in 2014-15 and 2013-14. This year, college Jean-de-Brébeuf won the bronze medal.
«» I do really not regret my choice", concluded Olivier Cadieux.

Thanks JS for this further posting of info on a player WHO IS COMING to be a Stag. As anxious as we are about who else might come, it's exciting to anticipate what this kid might bring to the table. Not that it predicts success or failure, but if attitude and confidence counts for anything we may have a gem here! TBD of course.
Olivier Cadieux posting a message on how much he appreciated his time at Brébeuf, and how he now looks forward to coming to Fairfield. He says he will be coming to Fairfield in 2 weeks, and since he wrote this message on 5/23, I would expect him on Campus by June 7th….. and a scouting report by june 8th by the scout team Very interested in seeing what type of player he is and what role he will play this year. Is he a John Tice, a Nick Delfico a Tim O'Toole, a Kudjo Sogadzi? My guess is that he is a tough rugged player that can score and be a 3G-wing. Translation below:
Good morning, Yesterday, I was present this to a tournament and a young boy came to ask me if i regretted my choice went to brébeuf. My answer was simple, this was probably the best decision of my life. It's in a moment of nostalgia and in order to thank all those who have been part and having had a role to play in my journey at the collège Jean-de-brébeuf that I take a few minutes. Do remaining me that 2 weeks before my departure for Fairfield and a few days after my last day in brébeuf, it was important for me to take the time to write this message.
I would first like to start with this. Through my journey at college, I heard the worst stereotypes about brébeuf. Fortunately, none of his judgements fuent true during my 3 years. I've created friendships that I will take my whole life. People who, I know, will be present for the rest of my days. I wanted to take this moment to thank them. Thanks for the memories, but also to have been present throughout my journey through the ups and downs. I will remember forever the games on Friday, the deep talks during the tournaments, the evenings at the end of the session, the Tabasco 'n' chill, the famous "Govig or go home" and the provincial championships. My journey has not been easy and I have, on numerous occasions, made mistakes but without the presence of my teammates, my coaches and his friendships, I never would've succeeded is dream that seemed so far away when I was Younger. Without the presence of coaches like Michael, Emin, Adam and Simon, I wouldn't be where I am. In fact, without my journey in brébeuf, I'd probably still dreaming and not prepare me for what has come. Many people doubted my decision to come to brébeuf there are now 3 years old, little were those who saw me where I am today. Fortunately, thanks to people who are now part of my family, I can go head to Fairfield knowing that its same people will be behind me and present at my back no matter what happens in the next few months, the next few years .
Finally, it is with great sorrow that I am leaving brébeuf but I out grew up. I know that this is only the beginning of many adventures to come. Thank you for everything

Sounds like a very humble and thoughtful kid who understands the big picture of what attending school and competing in athletics is all about. Lifelong friendships formed, preparation for life, excited for the future in the coming years at Fairfield. Looking forward to seeing Olivier play in the coming months.
