She’s intriguing because you can’t teach height. One of the best and worst coaches traits is the thinking that they can fix a kid’s mentality. Maybe CTD can. Maybe she can’t. Geno and crew couldn’t. Some kids aren’t made for the spotlight of a UConn type program. Elena Della Donne thrived post UConn EDD left because she was homesick and she was gone within days of being on campus. Geno didn't even have a chance to try to get her to fit.

Also led the Toreros in assists.

2023 WCC All-Freshman Team 2024 2nd Team All-WCC with 2 years remaining.
She's from Washington. Played in California. Fairfield must be under serious consideration to make the trip.
Watched some YouTube. Lefty(!). Not a prolific 3P shooter. Real nice ball handler and passer/vision. Good size helps her pass out of traps. Looks like she scores most of her points attacking the basket and with mid-range pull ups.
High quality recruit for sure.

5.1 assists per game. Most in school history. Gonzaga dominated post-season WCC awards. Impressive that she was second team.

This is the time to keep eyes out for campus visits. Did anyone meet or greet?

Hopefully, Sheffey brought along her teammate, Harsimran Khan, a 6'4 center who is also in the portal. She had 21 pts, 8 rebounds in the opening round of the WCC tournament. www.youtube.com/shorts/wtum_UCcKX0

Anything on any transfer activity? Seems like all guards, no bigs from what I have heard. Would like to see a legit 6'3" or so big that can match up against the level we would see in the NCAA tourney. Having to peel off and double down on Indy's big was a killer for us. Meg is great, but not big enough to pound against that kind of size.

Also looks like Niagara, Cansisius, Siena, Mt St Mary's and St Peters all losing a ton of players in the portal. We struggled with Sacred Heart last year at their place...will be interesting to see what the top 4-5 teams look like this coming year.

It doesn't seem like there is as much information about transfer activity for the women... from the top tier transfers all the way on down. You just don't see the flood of "100 schools contacted me" tweets like you do with the men. Twitter removing the ability to see chronological follows (at least as far as I can figure) - also really hurt any detective work that could be done with that. Maybe something will pop up - but I don't think anything is out there to find, right now.

Liked tweets are visible to competing coaching staffs and nosey fans like us haha

Sounds like an unusual way to recruit to me.
